Two former Indian Premier League friends are set to face each other on 14 April for the first time in the IPL Tournament history.Rising Pune Supergiants will be captained by MS Dhoni and Gujarat Lions will be captained by Suresh Raina in the VIVO IPL 2016

The Dhoni-led Pune Supergiants were very convincing and dominant when they handed defending champions Mumbai Indians a nine-wicket drubbing. They did not even require their middle order, packed with Dhoni himself and players such as Steven Smith, to come out with top-order delivering it for them comfortably.

On the other hand Gujarat lions batting is totally depended on McCullum, Raina, Bravo, Finch, Karthik and Kishan to score runs at good pace.Finch and Rahane has already made fifties in their opening match of GL and made a good start.So the team has hope from both of them to perform better.
